Furniture Removal
Make room for what comes next—not the furniture you are finished with.
The old sofa should not be your next weekend project.
Replacing furniture feels good until the old pieces are blocking a room, a hallway or the garage. A sleeper sofa is heavy, a sectional comes apart differently, and a dresser may not fit the route you expected. Tell Junk Reactor which pieces need to go and where they sit. The pickup plan starts with the furniture and the way out—not with you dragging everything to the curb.
Clear the room, not another corner
Move beyond shifting an unwanted piece from the living room to the garage every time it gets in the way.
Account for the awkward parts
Stairs, tight turns and oversized pieces belong in the plan before anyone arrives to move them.
Prepare for the replacement
Explain your delivery or move-out timing so the requested pickup can be planned around what comes next.
Furniture to include in your request
- Sofas, sectionals, recliners and sleeper sofas
- Mattresses, box springs and bed frames
- Dressers, wardrobes and freestanding cabinets
- Dining tables, chairs and coffee tables
- Desks, office chairs and freestanding shelving
Before pickup day
- Separate cushions, contents and loose belongings that you want to keep.
- Mention sleeper mechanisms, stone tops or other unexpectedly heavy components.
- Flag pest concerns, contamination or furniture attached to a wall before scheduling.
The Reactor Process
Furniture pickup starts with the piece and the path.
Show the furniture
Send a full-item photo, approximate size and item count. Include a close-up if a piece is broken or unusually heavy.
Describe the way out
Note the floor, stairs, elevator and route to parking. Ask whether any disassembly is needed and included.
Confirm and clear
Review the quote and available timing, then empty drawers, remove personal belongings and mark any nearby items that stay.
Indoor removal, disassembly and unusual items require an agreed scope. Donation or reuse is not guaranteed; ask about the options for your particular furniture.
Questions before you get started
Can I request just one couch or mattress?
Yes—start with the single item and its location. Include a photo and ask about any minimum charge when your quote is reviewed.
What about upstairs furniture?
Include the floor, stair layout and any narrow landings in your request. Photos of the route help identify access constraints before a pickup is confirmed.
More to clear?
Garage Cleanouts
Get your parking spot, workbench or breathing room back.
Estate Cleanouts
A thoughtful plan for the contents—and the decisions that come with them.
Commercial / Property Management
Coordinate the cleanout without losing track of access, approvals or the handover.
Get that piece out of the way.
Send a photo of the furniture and tell us where it is. Add your city or ZIP and any stairs or tight access.
Photos are optional. An estimate request does not book a pickup.
